Tangible things, places or even people themselves are neither innately good nor bad. It is the label that we put on them, The association and relationship we have with them, That give them their meaning to us; Through our lens, Based on our life experiences. Take money, for example. Use it for good, and donate. Or maybe spend it on things you don’t actually need. Money might possibly be tight for you right now, So you relate it to stress, anxiety or worry. But, you see, it’s not the money itself that is the root of the problem. There is something much deeper under the surface. I encourage you to dig and discover that source. It’s okay to feel that money may be out of your control, Because in reality, there will be times that it may go more than it comes in. Money is like the ocean: It comes and goes but always flows. Just as the tides of the sea, Sometimes life is out of our control. We must trust the process of our journey,
And our life’s seasons, Just like the yin and yang, Before harvesting, remember you must plant seeds. Even people are not inherently good or evil. It’s how we perceive them that gives them their label or meaning to us in our lives. If someone threw a life preserver AT you, it would hurt you. However, if they instead threw it out there FOR you, it could save your life. Every situation you go through in life happens FOR you, they are all gifts. So I encourage you with this challenge: When somebody or something upsets you, don’t listen to your first reaction so quickly.
Take a moment for yourself, a deep breath,
So that you can process it. Do not judge them or the circumstance immediately. Instead, try to see them as a brother or sister, someone you can empathize with.
Look for the silver lining in that event. You might just find that there is good in everyone and everything, As long as you are willing to uncover it.
Peace & Prosperity,
-Alex
